Niko grew up in Oksbøl, Denmark — a small coastal town where football was a way of life. He moved to the States before 11, developing through clubs in California before committing to the University of New Mexico.
At UNM he became one of the program's most productive players, scoring 28 goals across four seasons as a Lobo. In 2017 he was selected 9th overall in the MLS SuperDraft by Columbus Crew SC — under head coach Gregg Berhalter, before his tenure leading the US Men's National Team. That selection began a professional career that spanned seven years and four clubs.
He's back in Albuquerque with a clear purpose: to give young players access to the kind of training that actually builds real players — not great cone-drillers, but players who think fast, see the game, and make those around them better.
